This layout features Amu Hinamori from Shugo Chara. Amu is an absolutely amazing character and seems to feature in quite a lot of my layouts recently. I wanted to try out a different style and this is the result. This layout is titled 'This Modern Love' and was designed and created in Photoshop CS.
Just ignore the last post
Just ignore what I wrote in the last post. I hate ranting and that's just what I did and I'm sorry for that huge chunk of writing. I hope nobody read it.
I had my hair cut on Monday. If anyone has seen my pictures on facebook, you will know that I had really really long hair and it took me absolutely years to clean yet I didn't want to get my hair cut because i've always wanted long hair. Well not anymore! I wanted a change before the Ball but it's something that I've been wanting for a while but was just lets say, scared about doing it after growing my hair for almost 7 years. I went with my best friend to the hair salon and the hairdresser that was cutting my hair was really nervous whilst cutting my hair. She was scared that I would regret having my hair cut but I really wanted to have my hair cut no matter what. Consider this: if you have to spend half an hour every 3-4 days during a week, just washing your hair, would you even bother or would you just cut your hair off?? With University looming, I can't afford to spend time washing my hair all the time with the pressures of university. My hair is now shoulder length with layers and shortly I'll have a side fringe but I still need to grow it a bit since it's still very short. And yesterday, it took me 10 minutes to wash my hair! All my family and my friends say it looks better than my long hair but that was mainly because I always kept my hair up in a ponytail otherwise my hair would get in the way. I have facebook so if anyone wants to add me, contact me and I'll add you (my email address is different for facebook)
All of this week has been unbelievably hectic. Monday, Hair cut, Tuesday, nothing but helping out in the house and getting rid of some clothes, Wednesday, Shopping and walked to town and of course, Friday, Ball time. I'm unbelievably nervous and I dunno whether I should look forward to it or not. I've never been to a ball before. I think I'm more worried about the heat at the moment. It's really hot over here and I dread to look at the weather forecast to find out the temperature, otherwise I would actually die. I don't like the heat but I don't like the cold either. Being in the UK is the best sometimes as it is really nice and it's just inbetween the cold and hot weather but summer and winter is different. I walked to town today and it's only a 20-25 minute walk yet I was really tired not from walking but the heat. I can walk no problems without getting tired but in the heat, well thats another thing all together. I hope it gets colder by the end of the week. Last week there was an awesome lightening storm which was nothing more than Epic! I had to turn off the computer early because of it and the view from my window was just the best. I tried to take a photo but I didn't manage to get one decent shot.
