We start from scratch
I actually couldn't think of a blog post to be quite honest so I choose this one. I've finially finished, well more like handed in, my 1st university assignment and am currently in the process of finishing the other 2 for the 19th. To be honest, I've actually enjoyed doing on of my assignments which was based on research methods and design principles. Our lecturer told us to base a website on something we love and at first I thought anime/manga and then thought that at a University level, they don't want just manga/anime sites. So I chose something closer to my heart than anything else and that is Nature.
Nature is such an important thing to me and I think it surpasses even my love for Anime/Manga. Without Nature, I believe I still wouldn't be here because it is always the thing that cheers me up when I'm down whether it is just a little Robin flying from tree to tree or the sun rise. Just by researching just a little bit about Nature online, I found out some shocking news that literally ripped my heart out. Not only is there only less than 6% of the rainforest left on this planet but also there has been a drastic increase in the number of endangered species.
After researching and making a website (which unfortunately I won't be able to show online) I thought quite a bit and even questioned whether I may be doing the right course as even though I love Webdesigning, I also want to help Nature. I'm a very determined person and regardless I know I would never give up on this course as I love it too much and I seem to learn new things every minute.
So I've decided that I want to volunteer this year as well for the RSPB and learn more about Nature. In a way I think this year instead of making any sort of new year's resolutions, I've ended up making a life goal instead. That is to help in any way to protect Nature and to make people aware of the Nature around us. I found it shocking that most of my friends don't think much about Nature but think about some of the things relating to their life.
I think I've had a bit of rant, thoughts etc and yeah I have reached the end of this blog post.
