Hello and welcome Sweet Embrace, Raven’s online personal site and blog. This site is home to some of my photographs, poems, information about myself and my blog. Take a peek and I hope you enjoy your stay. I’m afraid that my graphics section is now closed since I started up a graphics site although you can always visit my graphics site if you wish!
This layout features my favourite bird, the Raven. My favourite family of birds is the Crow family and the raven’s Latin name is Corvus Corax. Even though I have never seen a raven in my whole life, I admire them and love them. This layout is titled, ‘Silence the cry’ which is from the song, ‘Silent cry’ by Feeder. As Photoshop isn’t working on my main computer, I’ve had to resort to using Paint shop pro and since I haven’t used it in over 5 months, I made this layout out of trial and error. In a way, it mirrors my domain layout, which also features a lovely raven.

Since I haven't blogged in a while, I thought I would make at least one entry. I have been so busy that even the CCF revamp is still in progress. I had one weeks work experience where I had to work from 10 till 6 and by the time I came home I was tired! So many things are happening and I'm going to france for 2 and a half weeks in um, 1 and a half weeks time. I really want to get CCF off the revamp by the time I go to france and I'll be working on some of the information when I'm in France even if I don't have the internet for long (my dad will use the internet everyday for like hours and I really am not exaggerating).
Moving on, I'm going in 2 hours time to a training day for one of the jobs I've applied for, well actually the only job I've applied for. I doubt I'll get it but I'll try my very best and I'll tell you guys if I do get the job.
I'm having a really bad Layout block at the moment. I just can't seem to get rid of it. I think it might be because I don't have photoshop and the things that I used to do on it, I can't seem to do on PSP. Although, for now, I'm concetrating on the content of my sites. I've realised how much CCF has been neglected. I've added so much more during this revamp and I hardly have any time.
Summer Holiday time and it's not the best of weather over here. Sunny one minute, raining the next. I hope it gets better. 2 weeks until Hot summer days in france.
Thought I would give you an update on the peregrines as well. All of the chicks have fledged now and only one of them seems to be around the tower. There is a competion to name one of the parent peregrines but I can't enter it because I'm working with the RSPB. oh, well.
[EDIT] I need peoples opinion on this one. I'm thinking about opening a portfolio site in order to put all of my graphics on instead of putting them on blue light but I'm not too sure. I'm also thinking whether it would be better to just keep Sweet embrace as a Blog rather than a personal site and blog. Anyway it would be great if I could have opinions on this one??
