Instead of the icon of L which is still really like, I've decided to use an icon that I won for the it takes two contest which me and Cali submitted a layout that we worked on together. We can third and well this is one of my prizes.

It's hot, it's sunny and the wildlife is forever facinating. Yesterday I went out for a walk and a little lizard crawled onto my hands. It was so cute and I could feel it's heart beating. My dad took some photos and I will upload them as soon as I get home.

OMG, I am actually updating this post with some uber cute pictures of the lizard:



The Lizard on my hand is a Common Wall Lizard and the one in the picture is a baby that decided to crawl onto my hand. I will also be adding all of the other pictures that I took on my holiday on the Photos page.

Anyway, due to the absolutely dismal weather after about 3 really nice days of sunshine, we didn't really go out that often. As you can see from some of the pictures that I've uploaded on the photos page, some of them aren't great due to the weather.

So, yeah. I have to say that it was a pretty good holiday even though we spent the most time looking after my cousins. I read more books in 3 weeks than I normally do. I read 'Breaking Dawn', 'Eragon', 'Angel', 'The Thirteenth tale', 'Tersias', and the whole of the 'His dark materials' triology. I am currently reading 'his dark materials' in French.

Well, we went to Beaune which is the nearest big town to my nans and went to Flavigny where the film 'Chocolat' was filmed. My mum wanted a picture taken in front of every building that they filmed the film in. It was kinda funny and one of the photos my brother took was hilarious as my mum was holding a sheet of paper and in his photo it looked like it was glowing.

On the same day, we went to Alésia and the statue of Vercingetorix. Now if you know me really well, you will know that I love the Astérix comics or Bande Desinée as they say in France. Vercingetorix is really famous in France and I first found out about him from Astérix. I took a couple of photos of it and I had to use Flash which I hardly use in order for the picture to look better.

And that was pretty much all for out holiday. I have a picture of my nan's cute Yorkshire terrier, Lady, in the photo gallery. I love Lady to bits since she is so uber cute. My dad did take a couple of photos of me holding Lady but I don't really want to have my picture being displayed so openly on this site. If you really want to see it just ask.

So now comes the results time. I received my results for my AS levels. I wasn't expecting good results but I think I did pretty well especially in Computing which is like the only subject that I am really good at. I got an A in computing, a B in french (big surprise especially since I thought I messed up my Speaking), a C in Geography and an E in Biology (which isn't very good but it was better than the january result I got which was a U).

There was something else I was going to add. Went to my best friends party last night. She is going to be 18 shortly and the party was so cool. We had Champagne and Vodka and even though I drunk quite a bit, I didn't get drunk but I did go crazy when I was dancing to 'Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom' by the Venga boys. Last day of my volunteer work tommorrow. I will be working at Cosmeston lake for another of the RSPB's aren't birds brilliant project so my volunteering days aren't over.
